The Architecture Alliance Participates in National Seminar on Real Estate Regulation.

The Architecture Alliance was pleased to take part in the National Stakeholder Engagement Seminar on Real Estate Regulation in Ghana, organized by the Real Estate Agency Council (REAC) on Wednesday 15th October, 2025 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.

The Alliance was represented by Charles Amissah-Koomson, Director of Legal and Policy and Nana Adjeiba Asuah-Kwasi, Director of Research.

The seminar provided valuable insights into the evolving regulatory framework of Ghana’s real estate sector. A key highlight was the emphasis on the need for professionals to thoroughly know their clients and verify funding sources for real estate projects they are engaged on— an essential measure in preventing exposure to illicit financial flows and the potential freezing of assets.

The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration and regulatory compliance in promoting transparency and accountability within the built environment.

Key stakeholders such as the State Housing Company Ltd., Architects Registration Council, Ghana Institution of Surveyors, the Financial Intelligence Centre, Star Assurance amongst others participated in the event.
